Retired DySP Udhayabhanu narrates events of his professional life in a TV program. That is how he reveals the intriguing details of the 'Chepanamthota case', a milestone event in his career. A string of events was set off when the strict Circle Inspector Jayashankar and SI Karthik, who had a history of earning punishment transfers in quick succession, started working together. They were often at loggerheads with their differing approaches to situations and solutions. Under the watchful eyes of family, friends, foes and superiors, they go about trying to unravel the tangled mess they find themselves in, each in his own inimitable style.
