📖 Storyline

Ojas is a 15-year-old student in Class 9 at Amber Girls School in Chandigarh. Her two main goals for the end of 2008 are- to become the Head Girl of her school, and to have her first kiss with a boy. However, she struggles to stand up for herself in various situations due to her shy and meek nature. She finds it hard to balance being the perfect student and being true to herself, which causes a mental conflict between her mind and heart. She seeks the advice of her friends, but their suggestions backfire and cause more problems for her. With a worsening personal life, a disastrous first date, and a friendship breakup, Ojas decides to take matters into her own hands, becoming more confident and bolder in the process. "Amber Girls School" is a story of a teenage girl's transformation from timid to confident, as she navigates the challenges of student life, including bullying, academic and peer pressure, teenage romance, physical changes, and mental health. All of these challenges happen midst a changing world and an emerging digital society.
